Udoka Advises On Safety Measures During Police Rescue Operations
By Factsreporters.com
In a recent security advisory, Engr. Udoka Emmanuel, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Security, emphasized the importance of personal safety during police rescue operations in kidnapping scenarios. Addressing the public, Engr. Emmanuel highlighted critical steps to take if one finds themselves in such a situation.
“When kidnapped, during a police rescue operation, it’s crucial to lie flat on the floor to minimize the risk of being hit by stray bullets,” he advised. Engr. Emmanuel stressed the importance of staying calm and avoiding any sudden movements that could be misinterpreted by rescuers.
He also underscored the need for clear communication with the rescue team. “As soon as it is safe to do so, identify yourself to the rescuers. Keep shouting your name repeatedly so that the rescue team can distinguish you from the captors,” he added.
Engr. Emmanuel’s advice comes amidst growing concerns over the safety of hostages during rescue operations, and it is intended to reduce the risk of harm to victims during such high-tension situations. The Delta State Government continues to prioritize the safety and security of its citizens, urging everyone to remain vigilant and informed on how to protect themselves in emergency situations.
